rotting at home for 1 week..

Sad sad sad... T_T didn't manage to go to Bangkok on last Saturday due to fever. Initially thought the fever was due to the flu jab which I had on last Tuesday, but in the end, it was not. I've seen 3 times doctor, 3 different doctors (1 is company's doctor, the other 2 are the one whom I'll normally go to if sick). Finally the third time after seeing the doctor, the fever finally subsided but left only rashes.

However, the rashes started to itch the next day. Instead of going to work, my mum asked me to go see doctor again to get some cream or medicine to stop the itch. And so I did... Sad to say, the doctor suspected that I'm having dengue fever. He told us that he'd sent a few patients living near my area, to the hospital for dengue treatment. This week, so far, has NOT sent any yet. Well, I guess he suspect that I'll be the next target as he kept looking at me when saying those words, looking so confident some more.. Haha~ So, took a blood test and wait for report to confirm.

That very evening, received a phone call from the doctor to confirm that, yes, I'm indeed tested dengue positive. As my platelet count is not less than 50, he gave me 2options, one is to go straight to hospital, or secondly is to stay at home if I'm feeling alright, don't feel giddy or going faint. I chose the second option which is to stay at home.

That very night, my mum cooked something for me to drink that could help increase my platelet count. Not as awful as I thought. Haha~ Drank and went back to sleep.

Woke up the next morning and went back to the doctor as instructed to get one more medicine from him, and also to do another blood test to see the platelet count. Received the report just now and very happy that platelet count increased. Just increase a bit more will be back to normal range. The doctor said I don't need to go back to him anymore as I'm recovering well. That's good. Spent quite a bit of money already, sigh. But well, at least I'm ok.. Haha~

This whole week didn't go to work, will be back to work next week. Seems like I still got quite a bit of work undone. Gotta rush a bit I guess. Plus, it's month end closing soon again! Tired.

Yoz~ I'm FINALLY back again~

Haha~ Been a long long long long donkey "years" that I've blogged already, did anyone miss me? Well, I doubt so but it's okie.

Finally exam's over and it's time to relax and play hard till the start of another round of "torture" in July. People have been asking me if ACCA is really that tough. Honestly speaking, if you've done enough work, there's shouldn't be a problem in passing, I mean PASSING, not scoring.

As for me, it's considered tough as.. Haha~ Yupp.. I'm not that hardworking type to study. I'm those last minute "learner", but more likely to be called a bad habit. This habit is really hard to change, and I'm really very used to it. For that I've been doing that don't know for how many years already.

I love studying at night, from 11pm to around 2am or 3am. That's the best time for me to study. Quiet and cool environment. I'll on the radio and listen to 933fm while studying.

A kind reminder, last minute study don't work well for ACCA study. Don't ever do it if you don't want to be like me i.e high chance of failing. Consistency hard work will be the one that makes you pass. Haha~

I'll be going Bangkok with some of my colleagues this Saturday 20 Jun 09 for a 4 Days 3 Nights short trip. Excited! Haha~ Haven't start packing yet, but nothing much to bring, so should be quite fast when packing.

Don't know what should I get for my family and friends, totally no idea yet. Well, wait till in Bangkok then decide since can't think of any right now.

Oh ya, some photos to share here. Went to attend an accountant's wedding on 31 May 09 (the day before my exam). She's so pretty on that day, looks so different. Haha~
